- DO save some of your pregnancy wardrobe budget for later, your body and the sizes you wear will continue to change. Also, your pregnancy may cross seasonal temperatures.
- DO NOT wear tent-like shirts! They really do hide your beautiful pregnant form. That is why our tees are form-fitting and flattering for your belly.
- DO invest in a good pair of black pants and a black skirt. They go with everything and they are very slimming.
- DO buy your basics (black pants, khakis, and jeans), but also splurge on bold and fun colored pieces. They go great with Preggers and Proud tees and tanks!
- For those days that you may feel a bit tired with your pregnancy wardrobe, DO slip on some fun and funky flip flops. They now come bedazzled, bejeweled, and oh so beautiful for your feet!
- DON'T wear clothes from his side of the closet! After all, you do not want to look like a pregnant man. There are too many fashionable choices out there now for pregnant women.
- DO be sexy and showing by revealing some skin on those special nights out with your partner. Wear something strapless, backless, or short!
- DO invest in good supportive bras, but also wait to buy a few after the baby arrives because your cup size will likely change.
- DO dress up with accessories, new hairstyles, and try new make-up looks. They will add extra spunk to your wardrobe.
- DO look for transitional pieces because you probably will not fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes right away, unless you are a celebrity with a personal trainer, nanny, chef, and billions of dollars. Preggers and Proud will soon have cute transitional tees!
And lastly, have fun with your pregnancy style--pretty soon, you'll be concentrating entirely on
onesies, diapers, and footie pyjamas!
